The PenPal letters started in 2018 were generated by my early teaching days in my first teaching assignment which happened to be a one-room school located 35 miles from the nearest town in Northern California. I used the penpal concept to help introduce my sudents to those living in various sections of our country. It worked well so I thought that by connecting our students in the USA with students in Nepal it might help facilitate the idea that wew are mall more alike than we are different. Now I have students from the schools I work with in Nepal corresponding with 4H clubs in the USA in both Conneticut and California.
